Have you ever thought that a lot of us can't afford to update to another IE and are stuck with IE6?

But when even Microsoft is urging people to say goodbye to IE 6 it is time to let the browser die. In fact, I believe that you can't afford not to upgrade!

If you don't want to switch for personal reasons, you might want to check out this chart from Microsoft that compares the different versions of IE. There are lots of reasons why IE 7 and IE 8 are much better than IE 6.

Microsoft also acknowledges that some of us are using the browser provided by our IT department. If that is your situation, you should send your IT management the information on this page. It has resources to help IT departments migrate off IE 6, case studies that show the benefits of moving to a modern browser, and more.

As Microsoft says: It's time to say goodbye to Internet Explorer 6.
