Adobe released the latest version of Dreamweaver recently, and I got the opportunity to review it. If you are considering starting to do mobile web design work, then this new version adds a lot of features that you'll like. There is jQuery Mobile support and even connectivity with PhoneGap to create Android and iOS native applications.

It also has all the great additions that were added in CS5 like much easier site management and support for creating and editing dynamic pages like WordPress templates.

But the most interesting part is the new pricing structure. You can either buy it outright like normal, or if you want you can sign up for a subscription plan of $19 per month. The subscription gets you all updates as they come out. So if CS6 were to come out in June (not likely, but if...) you would get it as a part of your subscription. This makes Dreamweaver much more affordable for the average designer. And if you hire designers on a temporary basis, you can purchase one month of Dreamweaver and then turn it off until you need to buy it again. This makes it much more affordable for teams and companies that only hire designers periodically.
