One of the new features of HTML5 is the outlining function. In HTML 4, you could create an ouline of your web page based on the heading tags (H1–H6), but it wasn't reliable, as many designers left out heading levels or didn't include text after a heading. But with the new sectioning elements in HTML5 browsers can create outlines much more easily.
