October is the month when I start reviewing the changes to web page editors and add profiles of any new web editors that I've learned about in the past year. This year I saw a lot of new "no HTML required" type editors come on the market or get pushed more heavily by their makers. Many of them provide ways to create HTML5 and CSS3 animation without needing to know either of those languages. These editors are very useful for what they do, but I'm not convinced that they are ideal for professional web designers to build and maintain entire websites. I'd love to know what you think—can you use an editor like
Hype or
Adobe Edge to build and maintain a complete website?
