One of the things I am most interested in with CSS3 is animations. You can make things fly in and out, create animated scenes and move your elements all over the place with CSS. This is exciting to me because it used to be that all that could only done with JavaScript and it was hard to implement and make work effectively. CSS3 moves the animation into the purvue of the designer, rather than the programmer, where it has been in graphics for a long time.
