I have seen many news reports saying that mobile devices are getting more and more popular for browsing the Web doing things we used to only do on a computer. Personally, I have both an iPod touch and an iPad that I use all the time for browsing the Web and answering email. And writing a mobile friendly website is a lot easier when you have a mobile device to test it on. Yes, there are emulators you can use to test, but there is really no substitute for trying out your pages on the real thing.
