RSS feeds can be tricky. I was running one site where they posted a photo every day, and the owner wanted the RSS feed to have every photo in it. But after a while the feed got so huge that it was difficult to maintain. So we converted the feed to be monthly, with links to previous months for the truly diehard fans. But most of the sites I've posted, we haven't paid much attention to the feed beyond making sure it's running. I honestly don't know if some of the sites I've built had any feed rotation in them or not. But as I build more sites with large amounts of content updates, I'm starting to feel that large RSS feeds are not a benefit. Most RSS readers only grab the last 10 posts or so, so having more than that just makes them slower to load. How many items do you keep in your RSS feed?
