Getting precise measurements can be difficult on Web pages, and most people who need to measure things will take a screen shot and then use the rulers in their graphics software to measure it. But if you have Firefox, you don't need to do that any longer. MeasureIt makes it easy to measure any element on the page, just click on the icon in your lower browser bar and click and drag to create the rectangle you want to measure. Using MeasureIt, I determined that my viewable space in my browser is currently at 1150px x 1032px. When you're done, just click the MeasureIt icon again and your browser goes back to normal.
